When you feel negative or guilt in terms of moral sense in your heart and mind without explanation due to an act, it is likely that you made a decision that had moral bearing or significance without your knowledge. This means that your conscience is holding you accountable because you are not innocent. You needed to acquire knowledge before the situation arised. Your lack of knowledge is the fault of yourself and your conscience is bothered by the act due to it having consequences on you and others possibly. Conscience is scrutiny when we act in conscience in every situation. However, moral sense has effect on guilt only when there is moral bearing and consequences to situations involving moral bearing. Sense has an explanation and meaning to be understood in context of Christianity. Have you ever held up a fork and sensed nothing? Yes. Have you ever gotten on a train and sensed something wrong because you were late but a murderer passed by and sensed nothing? Knowledge is acquired in time, but sense is significant in moments like these as things happen in life without our knowing everything. Conscience is reason plus sense, moral sense. Sense all things and you scrutinize, but use sense until you use prudence to acquire knowledge to know what is happening and the circumstances in context and you will reason easily in sense as well as in context.
